Assoc. Dr. Suleyman AKDEMIR
Lawyer, academician, writer. He was born on March 25, 1952 in Bursa. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Bursa. After graduating from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 1975, he worked as a labor inspector at the Ministry of Labor for two years between 1976 and 1978, and then started working as an assistant in the field of law at Ege University Department of Public Administration in 1978. Akdemir, who started his academic career at Istanbul University Faculty of Law in the same year, graduated from Ord. in 1985. Prof. Dr. He received the title of "doctor of law" with his thesis titled "Protection of Victims in Criminal Law" under the supervision of Sulhi Dönmezer. In 1986, he was appointed as an assistant professor at Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Public Administration and Legal Sciences; Between 1986 and 1992, he also served as Deputy Head of the Department of Public Administration and Head of the Department of Legal Sciences.

Asst. Assoc. Dr. Süleyman Akdemir left the University, where he worked for twenty-one years, in 1998 and started practicing law at the Izmir Bar Association. Akdemir currently continues his work as the Head of the Civil Procedure Law and Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law Department at Yeni Yüzyıl University Faculty of Law and as a lawyer affiliated with the Istanbul Bar Association. He also conducted postgraduate courses within the scope of the Institute of Social Sciences and served as the master's advisor of 10 students and the doctoral advisor of 2 students, enabling a total of 12 students to receive postgraduate diplomas.
