Prof. Dr. Süleyman KARAGÜLLE
Süleyman Karagülle (b. 1 July 1928; Borçka, Artvin - d. 24 May 2021[1][2]), Turkish politician, Islamic scholar, electrical engineer, thinker and writer.[3][4][5] He studied religious sciences from his father.[6] He graduated from Istanbul Technical University as an Electrical Engineer in 1955. He served in public office for 14 years. In 1967, he founded Akevler Cooperative[7] in Izmir.[8] He took part in the establishment of the National Order Party and the National Salvation Party together with Necmettin Erbakan.[8] He is one of the pioneers of the National Vision Movement.[9] He is the theorist of the Fair Order, which was developed as an alternative to Capitalism and Socialism.[8][9][10] He founded Akevler Cooperative[11] in Istanbul in 1998. He gave seminars and wrote books on Tafsir, Economics, Fiqh and Islamic Political Theory.[12][13] He has articles in Akevler Magazine[14], Vesika Magazine[15], Gurbet Magazine[16], Kriter Magazine[17], Tekyol Magazine, Islamic Civilization Magazine[15], Bilgi ve Hikmet Magazine[18]; His diary articles were published in Milli Gazete and Yeni Akit[19][20]. Süleyman Karagülle, who knew Arabic and French, died on May 24, 2021.
